A Parisian Fairytale in Los Angeles

Fairytales really do come true. At least they do for gorgeous couple Tram + Gregory. The first thing I thought when I saw their wedding photos was that the event looked like a fairytale come to life! Then I learned that the pair met in Paris, where Greg was born and raised. A full-blown Paris romance led to Greg moving to Los Angeles, California, to be with his leading lady. And then to an absolutely stunning wedding, shot by the amazingly talented Caroline Tran at the historic church, Vibiana. Adding to the fairytale is the fact that Vibiana was close to being demolished, but was saved literally moments before being bulldozed. Tram + Greg’s romance was absolutely made for Vibiana.

Yoleine Dumarsais of Twelve Events must have had fairytales on the mind when she was coordinating the pair’s wedding. The lightly colored flowers match perfectly to the muted tones of the bridesmaids’ Laundry by Shelli Segal dresses. And Tram’s Jenny Lee wedding gown only adds to the romantic awe-inspiring mood. As if the dress wasn’t perfect enough, Tram added her own lace cap sleeves, giving it a personal and absolutely dreamy touch. I’m just waiting for Prince Charming to come along. Oh wait, that’s Greg, the handsome Parisian groom!

The photo of Tram + Greg in the archway appears to be ripped from the pages of a fairytale and Caroline Tran deserves tremendous credit for all the enchanting photos, capturing every single detail of the evening from the garden ceremony to the refined reception. I’m absolutely in love with the high-ceilings in Vibiana and the fact that the couple kept their decor simple, but elegant, for the reception. When you picture the wedding of Cinderella and her Prince Charming, isn’t this exactly what comes to mind? I have a strong feeling Tram + Greg will live very happily ever after…

I LOVE all of the gorgeous photos! I especially love the last photo with the bride and groom with their French and English thank you signs. My Quebecois husband and I did the exact same thing and used them for our thank you cards. The bilingual thank you cards were perfect for my English speaking family and his French speaking family.

WOW, these are remarkable photos. Such a beautiful bride, the details are elegant and the venue is unreal. Love, love, love the fine attention to detail at the reception, the tall centerpieces, the silver chairs, the pewter tablecloths, and I especially love the moving image across the (super!!) high ceiling – must have been a memorable wedding – congratulations!

What an astonishingly classic picture setup! I was a little skeptical when I first saw this, since it’s much more formal than your usual featured photos and, well, I’m not much for formal or classic. I mean, I’m a woman who modeled her living room after Dr. Seuss, c’mon now!

But this is astonishingly beautiful, and I think the bride’s own classic features really make that fact. The photographer did a great job playing up that feature for her, with the pictures giving the viewer an impression of cool distance that will make for great memories with, again, a more formal feeling.

I’m sorry, I know I keep coming back to that, but that’s what I really took away from these shots! That, and major appreciation for the bride’s dress. She should win an award for character typing on that one-still classic, like the photos, but with enough sass that it really plays up her personality. Love it!

These are stunning photos! The photographer is absolutely amazing. The attention to detail here is just perfect. Who doesn’t want every little detail of the biggest day of their life captured? The photographer truly did that here. The photos of the jewelry, the chairs and the centerpieces are such a great addition to the set. These are the little details that the couple will look back on. The story of this couples special day is documented in a very special way. I really like the photo of the bridal party too, it captures beautifully the size of the venue and how gorgeous it is. The photos of the reception make me wish I could step into the stunning glamour of the moment. The lighting is warm and comfortable yet dramatic at the same time. Such a beautiful couple, I wish them all the happiness in the world.

I would fully expect to open a bridal magazine and see this entire lay-out in it. Phenomenally done! My favs are the couple standing in the doorway a foot or so apart and kissing and the other fav is the shot with the groom kissing the bride on the shoulder. This pic seems to capture their love! Great lay-out! Can’t wait for the next shoot!

Breathtaking… the bride, her dress, her jewelery, her head piece (love to know where she got that!! wonder if it’s Jenny Lee too?). The outdoor ceremony is perfect. The venue is just as perfect. One of the classiest weddings I’ve seen!
