Blueberryweddings.com was founded

The Blueberry Wedding Blog is having a complete makeover:)

Our official Launch date for the new site is May 15, 2010.

In the meantime please accept our apologies while it takes us  bit longer to update new content, reply to emails and transfer the old section with the new look.

Blueberryweddings.com was founded in December, 2002, with the hopes of becoming an invaluable tool for couples that are in the process of planning one of life’s most exciting occasions – their wedding day.

Currently, there are two sections that make up BBW: the bulletin board (askbrides.com), and the resource section. On the Askbrides bulletin board, hundreds of people meet to discuss the aspects of planning a wedding. Here, you can ask for suggestions, offer advice, and find out about others’ experiences with prospective vendors. In the resource section, vendors are listed according to planning region. Researching vendors becomes much easier, with the variety of vendor links posted on BBW, helping to cut back on precious hours that would otherwise be spent finding appropriate vendors in your area. Be sure to check out the BBW top ten lists that highlight some of our personal favorites in each section.

BBW is a website for the sophisticated bride and groom. We hope that you find the website helpful.
According to Wikipedia
A wedding is a civil or religious ceremony which celebrates the beginning of a marriage. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. In some countries, cultures and religions, the actual act of marriage begins during the wedding ceremony. In others, the legal act of marriage occurs at the time of signing a marriage license or other legal document, and the wedding is then an opportunity to perform a traditional ceremony and celebrate with friends and family. “Photojournalism (sometimes called photo journalism) is a particular form of journalism (the collecting, editing, and presenting of news material for publication or broadcast) that creates images in order to tell a news story”. The photojournalist approach to candid photography is becoming popular as a unique style of commercial photography. For example, many weddings today are shot in photojournalism style resulting in candid images that chronicle the events of the wedding day.As defined by Encarta, Photojournalism is “journalism using mainly photographs: a form of journalism in which photographs play a more important role than the accompanying text”.
