Do you think Jessica + Phan would be my friends if I asked nicely? Maybe even give me an invite to their wedding? Because from the moment I saw this couple’s engagement photos, I immediately wanted to get to know them better. And when I reached the end of the photo series, I found myself wishing for more and more pictures; for the series to go on forever.
Incredibly talented photographer Justin Battenfield from Oklahoma was lucky enough to shoot Jessica + Phan’s engagement photos, which means he got to spend an entire afternoon with them. And he says the couple was a breeze to photograph because they were comfortable being completely themselves with each other. That’s totally obvious even from the way they sit next to each other with Jessica’s head lightly resting on Phan’s shoulder. And it’s even more clear with the images of Jessica + Phan lying in the grass together, laughing, with the most genuine smiles on their faces. Or the ones in which they’re bowing to each other and play fighting.
What I’m trying to say is that every one of these photos shows how deep in true love Jessica + Phan are with each other. And there’s something about the pair that make me want to get to know them more. Or at least to see what kind of scene they’ll set for their next photo. The couple’s wedding is going to be a fabulous occasion and while I won’t be there, I can’t wait to see photos.
Oh, and if it’s not too much to ask, maybe Jessica will even let me borrow that incredible scarf she’s wearing. What? I really like these two.
