Make it Memorable

It’s often the little unique touches at a wedding that will have guests walking away remembering the day for the rest of their lives. But while lots of couples add small, special details that make their wedding memorable, Megan + Elliott went an extra step and chose an amazingly stunning, unique venue that surely blew all their guests away. I was blown away just from viewing photos of their wedding.

I like to imagine that exceptional photographer Gina Zeidler had a really difficult time going through her photos after Megan + Elliott’s wedding, trying to choose which ones to include in the final album. After all, every photo is so stunning, the album likely could have gone on forever. Of course, some of that has to do with the fact that Megan + Elliott are a gorgeous couple, but it also has to do with their out of this world venue. Megan + Elliott didn’t opt for a hotel ballroom or a garden wedding. They went for the totally unexpected and got married at the Oklahoma City Farmers Public Market.

The big open space is probably usually filled with food and vendors, but on Megan + Elliott’s wedding day, it was filled with their loved ones. Have you seen the size of their wedding party? This couple has a lot of loved ones! But some of my favorite photos are the shots of Megan + Elliott alone in the room. The paint’s crumbling on the walls and the pipes are visible on the ceiling, giving the room so much character.

Images of their wedding will remain in the memories of Megan + Elliott and all their guests forever. But the photos will be their daily reminder of how uniquely beautiful their wedding was. Of course, it also doesn’t hurt that Gina Zeidler makes the plate of muffins and the table of hair products look incredible, too. Maybe those little details are still important, after all.

What a funky location. The photos make great use of it! Fantastic.

Those images against the window are so romantic!
