Never, Ever Let Go

When the man you love is down on one knee proposing marriage – you giddily exclaim ‘Yes!’

When the man you love is down on one knee proposing marriage.
On a trip to Portugal to meet your extended family.
After cleverly concealing the ring through customs.
So he could surprise you with the proposal one night after dinner.
In front of your entire family.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
And after all that.
He learned how to propose in Portuguese.
You grab a hold of him and never, ever, let go.

This wedding is all heart and then some. It took place at the Barcelo Maya Tropical Hotel in the Mayan Riviera. And while Angelina + Justin have a lifetime of romantic moments ahead of them, I’m just happy I can share their amazing story and these beautiful images, courtesy of Jen Alston from Imajen Photography.

Even though I didn’t attend the wedding, I got to experience through the wonderful shots that were taken and then later compiled into a breathtaking presentation. Whenever I’m feelin’ blue I go and replay that slide presentation….works like a charm. How cool is that?

I am the Bride’s (Angelina) mother. I am a Hair Designer & have been in the profession for the last 33 years. I have dealt with many brides. I saw a ‘different’ bride on Nov 18th. This woman didn’t care about anything else but the man she’s in love with. It was all about the vows for her & everything else was secondary!
