Some say the dress makes the lady. But I say the lady makes the dress. And when a bride first puts the dress on, she almost always knows it’s the one. It’s not the way it looks on the rack, but it’s what she does to it when it’s on her. And something tells me that when Anna first put her wedding dress on, the entire room was silent. All eyes on her. And they knew. There was no decision making; no back and forth; it was obvious. This dress was made for Anna, and Anna was made for this dress. A match made in heaven.
But as we all know, a beautiful bride in a gorgeous gown isn’t all there is to a wedding. Luckily for everyone involved, Anna’s groom, Andrew, is also incredibly handsome and deeply in love with her. And the two of them make for some of the most amazing wedding photos I’ve seen.
I’m in awe of how talented photographer Katie Stoops embraced the beauty of the couple throughout the shoot. Her collection of photos had my jaw dropping. And I swear it wasn’t just the dress. Katie truly makes the couple pop in every photo. The focus is always on Anna + Andy and their absolute happy calm. And in the photos where the light is hitting them just right, you know they’re going to live happily ever after.
It may be the lady who makes the dress, but it’s the groom who makes the bride look like the happiest girl in the world!
